COLUM / ComputerOndersteunde Leergang voor de Uitspraak van het Mandarijn

 

COLUM is een online omgeving die tegelijkertijd dient als:

  • oefenmodule voor Mandarijnse uitspraak;
  • inleiding tot het transcriptiesysteem Pinyin;
  • naslagwerk over het Mandarijnse klanksysteem.

COLUM is ontwikkeld voor studenten Chinees. Sinds 2008 is het programma ook beschikbaar voor belangstellenden; details staan hier.

International Phonetic Alphabet (IPA)
1. INVOER VAN IPA-SYMBOLEN IN TEKSTDOCUMENTEN
  • In de meeste tekstverwerkers kunnen IPA-symbolen worden ingevoerd via functies zoals "Symbolen invoegen" of "Speciale karakters invoegen". Gebruik bij voorkeur een Unicode-compatible font.
  • Eerste hulp bij IPA-invoer:
    • Mac: IPA Palette voor Mac (zie afbeelding rechts)
    • Windows: IPA Console (met dank aan Daan van Esch, maart 2010)
2. FONTS MET IPA-SYMBOLEN
  • Gemak dient de mens – Unicode-compatible fonts bevatten sowieso een volledige set IPA-symbolen
  • IPAPhon: "The IPAPhon family is an attractive typeface with the complete set of phonetic symbols as set out in the most recent (1995) revision of the International Phonetic Alphabet". Het font staat op de website van IPAPhon; er is ook een backup beschikbaar van dit font en de bijbehorende documentatie.
